Keanu Reeves I'm a meathead man. You've got smart people, and you've got dumb people. I just happen to be dumb.

Keanu Charles Reeves' childhood was not a model for stability. Born to a half-Chinese, half-Hawaiian father and an English Mother, in Beirut, Lebanon in 1964 he bounced from city to city, including New York and Toronto and from father to father as his mother married four times.
Keanu (meaning "cool breeze over the mountain" in Hawaiian) began to establish his passions in Toronto, particularly those for hockey and drama. School, however, fell by the wayside and Reeves dropped out to pursue other interests.

Earning his way on the Toronto stage, Reeves and was lucky enough to find Youngblood, a film for his debut that combined two of his passions. Filled with confidence from the bit part, Reeves headed off to Hollywood and stardom.
