Denzel Washington
Denzel Washington Denzel Washington's commanding onscreen presence emanates from the diginity, power and sexual energy that radiates from his being. He has nurtured these talents into an Academy Award and several brilliant performances.

Washington was born in Mount Vernon, New York in 1954 to a minister father and a hairdressing mother. Denzel has never been linked to the wildness of Hollywood, and has always presented himself as being rather grounded with strong values. The seeds were most certainly planted at home, but somethings are not meant to be. At the age of fourteen he was sent away to boarding school while his parents attempted to hash out their relationship that would eventually end in divorce. Upon high school graduation, he enrolled at Fordham University with his eye on a degree in journalism. Though he did attain his goal, it was his work in student stage productions that became his passion and eventually his career.
