Vince Vaughn Vince Vaughn fairly leapt to fame in the mid-nineties, and has since chosen his roles sparingly. So while he might not be the most familiar face on the block, he has nonetheless created numerous very memorable roles, and has also been a faithful supporter of another famous actor/director, Jon Favreau. Not unlike the Wilson brothers/Wes Anderson teams, Vaughn is following a trend to make smaller films with close buddies - the result has been indie success and Hollywood crossover.

Vaughn hails from Minneapolis but was raised in Chicago, USA. He chose not to attend college and a coveted athletic career after being injured, and decided to try acting out. His feature film debut was a role opposite The Lord of the Ring's Sean Astin in Rudy, where he played a football player.
