Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller "There's an old saying in Hollywood: It's not the length of your film, it's how you use it."

Born November 30, 1965, in New York City and raised on Manhattan's Upper West Side, Stiller is the son of comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. After leaving the University of California at Los Angeles after only nine months, he made his acting debut in a Broadway revival of The House of Blue Leaves in 1985. Two years later, his big-screen debut came in the stinker Fresh Horses. His next gig, in 1989, was as writer for comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live (SNL). He described the backstage atmosphere there as "very negative" and left for Los Angeles after just five weeks.

He began work on The Ben Stiller Show, which aired on MTV before being picked up by Fox for a brief run. The show became fertile breeding grounds for young, hip comics. Despite the critics' fondness for the show, Fox canceled it just 12 episodes in. Stiller and his co-write
