Biography
Steve Zahn
Steve Zahn Steve Zahn has all but burst onto the movie scene in recent years, propelling from small roles to scene-stealer almost overnight. While he's still typecast as the doofus next door, it's not without good reason - he's brilliant at playing that role, and has a physical humor about him that matches Jim Carrey's any day.

Short, blond and adorable, Minnesota, USA born Zahn has spotted numerous films and TV shows over the past few years. Far from classically trained on the stage, he got his start in dinner theater, entertaining munching audiences with his charismatic presence and improvisation skills. He then moved on to the professional study of theater, before moving to New York in 1991. He toured with the play Bye Bye Birdie before landing a couple of well-received Off-Broadway roles, in Sophistry and SubUrbia (with Ethan Hawke). At the same time he landed bit parts, but really got his break when he co-starred in the famous ensemble cast, Generation X slack
