Owen Wilson
Owen Wilson Owen Wilson has appeared in several hit films over the past few years and has received acclaim for three screenplays he has written with Wes Anderson. Their most recent collaboration, The Royal Tenembaums, earned the duo a 2003 Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. In front of the camera he exudes a laid-back yet charismatic surfer-dude charm, and hilarious, if oddball, comic timing.

Self-proclaimed troublemaker Owen Wilson grew up in Texas with his mother, Laura, a photographer; his father, an ad exec; and his brothers, Andrew (the eldest) and actor Luke (the youngest). Expelled from St. Mark's Academy in Dallas Texas in the tenth grade, Wilson finished his sophomore year at Thomas Jefferson School and then headed to a military academy in New Mexico.

He then attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he met his future mentor and friend, Wes Anderson. Owen had long been writing, and also had a desire to produce and act. The college roommates
