Jonathan Pryce
Jonathan Pryce Jonathan Price was born in Holywell, in North Wales. Before winning a scholarship to the Royal Academy for the Dramatic Arts, he studied art. After completing his education at the Royal, he joined the Liverpool Everyman Theatre Playhouse. A year later, he returned as the Artistic Director.

By the mid-1970s Pryce was becoming a fixture on the London stage with appearances in The Taming of the Shrew, Antony and Cleopatra, Measure for Measure, Hamlet and Accidental Death of an Anarchist. Having won the coveted Tony award for his work in his Broadway debut, Comedians, he garnered a second one 15 years later in the musical Miss Saigon, playing the Eurasian Engineer.

From the mid '70s to the mid '80s, Pryce started making his mark on television in telefilms like Daft As a Brush, The Day Christ Died, and Murder Is Easy. His feature film debut was in Voyage of the Damned in 1976. But it wasn't until 1983 that he made a big impression as a manipulative journalist
